Diabetes Foot Care Workshop 2005
on November 14, 2005 [World Diabetes Day]

at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences
in Lucknow

AIM: To educate diabetes health care providers
(doctors,nurses, paramedical workers) about
contemporary management (medical & surgical) of
diabetic foot. We hope this might help in
reducing the rampant practice of offering amputation as the
treatment of choice to the patient when the limb is threatened.

Tentative Programme in brief:

Subsidized registration:
We have kept the registration fee (including
accomodation) very low e.g.Doctors (Rs.1000, students Rs.600, Paramedical staff Rs.500, accompanying persons Rs. 300 etc.) till 31st  October, 2005.

Limited number of travel grants can also be
considered for students and paramedical staff provided they have registered.
