Dear Associates, - It gives me a great pleasure to inform you that Mumbai has been chosen as venue to host the 2nd International Symposium on diabetes and Related Disorders between January 16th and 18th. This program will be conducted under the aegis of Mayo Foundation and The World India Diabetes Foundation. Those of you who had an opportunity to attend the 1st International Symposium on Diabetes held at Kochi during December 2001, will bear testimony to the fact that the symposium was among one of the first held in the country. For the forthcoming symposium we propose to provide a distinctly different scientific flavor. The symposium will attempt to strike a fine balance between medical and possibly for the first time perspectives into surgical management of diabetes-including Islet Transplantation, Obesity surgery etc The event will have an array of international speakers who have done pioneering and at times path breaking work in the field of diabetes. A team of eminent Indian speakers will complement the international speakers.

We are certain that you would not like to miss such an unique symposium on diabetes.  I cordially invite you to register yourself for this symposium.  Since we propose to have limited registration for the program we request you to register now in order to avoid last minute disappointment.

Regards and best wishes.

Yours sincerely,
