Original communication is invited on any subject relevant to understanding of diabetes and care of diabetics. Abstracts must be based on results that have not been published in any journal before October 2003. Abstract should be within 250 words. It is mandatory that the presenting author of any abstract accepted for presentation attends RSSDI 2003 at Jaipur to present his/her paper.

Diabetes in Indian children

Abstracts on childhhood diabetes in India are invited.
The study should have minimum of 100 children preferably including any of the following data :
Type of Diabetes - Type 1, Type 2, genetic syndromes, secondary and others, age of onset, sex distribution, economics, complications, treatment, mortality, rural vs urban, growth, bone density, puberty, DKA, psychosocial aspects, antibody status, other associated autoimmune disease.

Multicentric clinical research in Diabetes- Indian experience

Abstracts are invited from clinical research diabetologists on multicentric clinical research conducted in India regarding epidemiology, treatment, complications, drug trial, insulin devices, economics and monitoring glycaemic control.
