It is an honour and privilege to host the 2002 Annual Conference of RSSDI at Cochin.  This conference will give the opportunity for academic knowledge and experience sharing with each other and the rare opportunity of seeing GOD’s OWN COUNTRY – Kerala. Cochin is known as the Queen of Arabian Sea and is well known for its traditional hospitality.  You must avail the full benefit of attending the conference by planning your pre and post conference sight seeing tours well in advance.

The success of any conference depends on the scientific presentation and interaction.  A Scientific Committee under the Chairmanship of Dr. A.K. Das at national level and Dr. M.V. Muraleedharan at local level are trying their level best to have a good academic feast for the participants.  The Conference will have less time for lectures and more time for interactive sessions.  Your valuable suggestions and comments regarding the scientific content will always be considered seriously.  So please feel free to interact with the Scientific committee members.

Remittances

All remittances must be made by bank draft/bankers cheque to RSSDI 2002 payable at COCHIN.  Outstation cheques should carry an additional amount of Rs. 50 towards banking charges.

Cancellation

Request for refund of cancellation of registration will be accepted upto 15^th September 2002 only.  An amount equivalent to 30% will be deducted for each individual refund.  All refunds will be made after 20^th November 2002.  Spot Registration is only for a few.

THE REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY FOR DELEGATES WHO ARE PRESENTING PAPERS.

Delegates who have registered and paid and have not received conformation should contact RSSDI 2002 Secretariat.

All delegates are required to bring the receipt to the registration desk for authentication.

·         Conference documentation (abstract volume etc.)

·         Admission to the Opening Ceremony, Social events and closing ceremony

Life membership of RSSDI

RSSDI is the largest Indian organization of diabetes health care professionals and researchers.  As on Dec. 31, 2001, 1648 life members are represented from 29 Indian States and Union Territories and Nepal.  In addition to becoming a member of the most prestigious society of diabetologists in India, it entitles you to a free copy of the Internal Journal of Diabetes in Developing Countries published quarterly.  Life membership subscription is Rs. 1500.  For cheques, add Rs.50 as outstation charges.  Kindly make your cheque/bank draft payable to RSSDI and snd to RSSDI Secretariat in Hyderabad.
